THE BIRDS

How could I have left Ketchikan without mentioning the birds. I will just leave you with these wonderful pictures of the birds that were in the city who had been rescued.
Here a rescue animal is a Miniature Chihuahua...there a bald eagle. He was damaged when he swooped down on a hurt animal and got caught in a trap. It took off his back claw. They cannot hunt without the back claw (who knew). If it was a front claw no problem.
